Middle Vue.js Engineer

We are looking for a Middle Vue.js Engineer to join a project in the tech capital of the world - Silicon Valley.

What is a project idea?

The project was founded back in 2014 with the goal of connecting private and government universities with regular people like we are. You have a variety of auditoriums, gyms, classrooms, and other venue options available for community use. Schedule facility uses and manage requests from the community all in one place.

Just imagine that you’re a football player and you can rent a football field at Harvard to play with your friends. Amazing, right?

What are we doing on the project?

We create a new project from scratch, built on cutting-edge technologies, and utilized by thousands of customers daily. We’re using Serverless (such as Lambda functions) and NoSQL to manage huge amounts of data and deal with existing customers.

What is the team size and structure?

Our team consists of 2 Vue.js engineers, 3 Node.js engineers, DevOps, UI/UX Designer, Manual QA, and PM.

The product is transforming the way public and private spaces are discovered, reserved, and used across communities – all online and accessible anywhere.

How many stages of the interview are there?

– Interview with the Recruiter – up to 30 min.;

– Technical interview with the Technical interviewer and Hiring Manager – up to 1 h;

– Interview with the client in English – up to 1 h;

– Offer.

Requirements

Hard skills

• 3 years of working experience using Vue2;
• Experience working with Nuxt2;
• Experience working with Vuetify, or other UI libraries;
• Understanding of fundamental web technologies such as HTTP, REST, AJAX, and JSON;
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript / ES6, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model;
• Thorough understanding of VueJS, ReactJS/Node.js and its core principles;
• Experience working with RESTful APIs;
• Excellent knowledge of full web stack interactions;
• Excellent communication skills;
• An Upper-intermediate level of English.

Nice to have

• Search for candidates with JS, Ruby, and Python abroad.

Responsibilities

Tech

• Development of web applications with VueJS;
• Development of mobile applications with similar technical stack;
• Development of the Client application’s structure;
• Direct communication with the development team and customers;
• Taking participation in sprint planning and tasks evaluation;
• Development of HTML and CSS code for responsive design;
• Ensuring the code tests coverage.
