We’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer (Python + React) to join a long-term project with a US-based SaaS client building an AI-powered communications platform for SMBs. You’ll help build a new outbound voice and messaging layer — a durable scheduled action queue, time-aware execution engine, Google Calendar-driven reminders and callbacks, stage-based follow-up sequences, and new firing modes for the outbound API. The work spans backend infrastructure and frontend configuration UI on top of a live production platform. Greenfield feature development, direct collaboration with the client’s product and engineering leadership, and roughly a year of follow-on work expected.

Requirements and responsibilities

Must have:
  • 5+ years of commercial experience as a Fullstack Engineer
  • Strong Python (backend services, APIs, async processing)
  • Solid React (modern hooks, TypeScript a plus)
  • Experience with multi-tenant SaaS, scheduled jobs / queues, and third-party API integrations (Google Calendar, SMS, voice — a plus)
  • Self-driven, comfortable working directly with the client
  • Upper-Intermediate+ English
Nice to Have

Familiarity with AI-powered or voice/messaging products is a plus – not required, but helps you understand the product context faster.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build backend services in Python (scheduled action queue, execution engine, calendar integration)
  • Extend the React-based admin UI for configuration and execution visibility
  • Integrate with Google Calendar, SMS, and voice providers
  • Collaborate directly with the client on scope, estimates, and technical decisions
  • Ensure code quality, reliability, and clear execution logging
