Modern Slavery Statement

Who are we?

Ralabs OÜ (“Ralabs”) is a technology company providing software development and technology services to businesses around the globe.

We work with clients, partners, contractors, and suppliers across different countries. As a company, we believe that business should be built on respect, transparency, and responsible cooperation.

This statement explains our approach to preventing modern slavery, forced labour, human trafficking, and other forms of exploitation in our business and supply chain.

Our commitment

Ralabs has zero tolerance for modern slavery, forced labour, child labour, human trafficking, or any form of exploitation.

We expect the same level of responsibility from our employees, contractors, partners, and suppliers. Everyone who works with or for Ralabs should be treated fairly, respectfully, and in line with applicable labour laws and human rights standards.

We are committed to acting ethically and responsibly in all business relationships.

Our business and supply chain

Ralabs provides software engineering, product development, design, data engineering, AI, DevOps, and related technology services.

Our supply chain is relatively simple and mostly includes:

  • independent contractors and professional service providers;
  • software, cloud, and infrastructure vendors;
  • office, administrative, accounting, legal, and recruitment service providers;
  • other business partners supporting our operations.

Because we operate mainly in the IT and professional services sector, we consider the direct risk of modern slavery in our own operations to be low. However, we understand that risks may still exist in broader supply chains, especially where third-party suppliers, subcontractors, or cross-border services are involved.

Our policies and principles

Ralabs expects all people working with us to act with integrity and respect toward others.

Our internal practices are based on the following principles:

  • people should work voluntarily and under agreed terms;
  • no one should be forced, threatened, or pressured into work;
  • compensation and working conditions should be fair and agreed in advance;
  • discrimination, harassment, abuse, and exploitation are not acceptable;
  • suppliers and partners should comply with applicable employment, tax, and labour laws;
  • concerns should be raised openly and handled responsibly.

Where needed, we may include these expectations in supplier communication, contracts, onboarding, and internal procedures.

Due diligence

When engaging with new suppliers, contractors, or partners, we take reasonable steps to understand who we work with and whether they are able to meet our expectations.

Depending on the nature of the relationship, this may include:

  • reviewing the supplier’s background and business activity;
  • checking whether the supplier provides services directly or through subcontractors;
  • assessing whether the supplier operates in a higher-risk geography or industry;
  • requesting additional information where needed;
  • including compliance, confidentiality, data protection, or responsible business clauses in agreements;
  • reviewing concerns if they are raised by employees, clients, suppliers, or other stakeholders.

We do not aim to create unnecessary bureaucracy, but we do want to make sure that our business relationships are responsible and transparent.

Risk assessment

Ralabs considers the risk of modern slavery in its direct workforce to be low, mainly because our work is performed by skilled professionals in the technology sector.

The areas that may require additional attention are:

  • third-party suppliers providing services outside our direct control;
  • subcontracting arrangements where visibility may be limited;
  • suppliers operating in countries or industries with higher labour-risk exposure;
  • low-paid or outsourced operational services, where relevant.

If we identify a higher-risk relationship, we may request additional information, review the relationship, ask for corrective actions, or stop working with the supplier.

Reporting concerns

We encourage employees, contractors, clients, suppliers, and partners to report any concern related to unethical behaviour, forced labour, exploitation, or human trafficking.

Concerns can be reported to Ralabs management or by contacting us at:

[email protected]

All concerns will be reviewed seriously and handled with appropriate confidentiality. Ralabs does not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.

Training and awareness

Ralabs works to build awareness of responsible business conduct among its management and relevant team members.

As our company and supplier network grow, we may provide additional guidance to people involved in supplier management, recruitment, legal, HR, and operations so they can better identify potential risks and act appropriately.

Monitoring and improvement

We understand that preventing modern slavery is an ongoing responsibility.

Ralabs will continue improving its approach by:

  • reviewing supplier-related risks when needed;
  • improving internal documentation and governance practices;
  • adding relevant supplier checks where appropriate;
  • responding to client compliance requirements;
  • updating this statement when our business, operations, or legal requirements change.
