Requirements and responsibilities
● 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst;
● Strong ability to identify implicit and undocumented requirements;
● Advanced systems thinking and an end-to-end mindset;
● Experience modeling business processes, user journeys and flows, state diagrams, integration and data flows;
● Proven experience creating Business Requirements Documentation (BRD), Functional and Non-Functional Requirements, Use Cases and Scenarios;
● Hands-on experience with Confluence (structured spaces, templates, navigation) and Jira (epics, stories, traceability);
● Experience with diagramming tools (Miro, Lucid, Whimsical);
● Ability to ask the right questions, not just collect answers;
● Strong communication with engineers without micromanagement;
● Comfortable working with incomplete information and conflicting inputs;
● High level of ownership and proactivity, with the ability to turn chaos into structure;
● Upper-Intermediate level of English.
● Experience in the Defense/MilTech and AI domains;
● JTBD experience.
● Conduct elicitation workshops with the customer, users, and other stakeholders;
● Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements;
● Identify actual business rules, constraints, and dependencies;
● Design a single, coherent documentation structure usable as a source of truth for project requirements;
● Create detailed requirements for the development team, defining acceptance criteria, edge cases, and constraints;
● Identify gaps, contradictions, and risks in user behavior and requirements;
● Prepare a detailed scope for the MVP and a high-level scope for further phases;
● Define and validate non-functional requirements;
● Support the Product Owner with backlog creation, refinement, prioritization, and scope definition;
● Identify and document assumptions, risks, dependencies, constraints, and open questions;
● Manage requirement changes and keep documentation up to date;
● Work closely with the Architect and UI/UX Designer.
