It’s mid-February, and I thought it’s right on time for another update on the market and Ralabs’ journey.

📊 Focus & Insights

  • We remain focused on improving service quality, enhancing Executive Relations, strengthening our Sales & Marketing team, and achieving more consistent marketing efforts. 
  • Our use of third-party solutions and outsourcing to accelerate market delivery and refining our approach to project estimation.
  • I’m proud to say that we are on the path to having every Project Manager become certified.
  • Our HR efforts are focused on employee engagement, learning & development, and retention, with an ongoing investment in these areas.

👩🏼‍💼 HR Updates

  • 2 new team members joined Ralabs.
  • We will be hosting a tech talk next week, titled “Introduction to ISO Standards” by our Head of Engineering.

  • We have received confirmations regarding the anticipated expansion of our team in 2024, as well as the successful renewal of continuation agreements with multiple clients.
  • Received our first client request for ISO 13485 certification (Medical Devices).

  • React leads as the most in-demand frontend framework, boasting 225,000 job offers. Angular follows with 172,000 offers, and Vue is in third place with 48,000 offers. Learn more here.

🤖 AI Developments

  • According to Axios, the FCC now prohibits the use of AI-generated voices in scam robocalls, effective immediately.
  • Gemini is expected to be available on Android devices soon.

  • This month I focused on mastering the power of ‘Collaborating with the Enemy’, with the help of Adam Kahane, an author of this very interesting book.
