💡 Thoughts
- Accessibility is a significant business opportunity often overlooked – nearly 96% of websites still fail basic accessibility standards, as revealed in the 2024 WebAIM report. With over 1 billion people globally living with disabilities and a vast majority of websites failing accessibility standards, there’s a substantial untapped market. By prioritizing accessibility, businesses can expand their customer base, improve brand reputation, and comply with regulatory requirements. It’s not just about ethics; it’s a strategic imperative.
