The challenge
SVIYP came to us with a clear concept, tight timeline, and the ambition to productize their coaching model. The goal was to launch a fully functional MVP that could support multiple user types, deliver structured content and coaching flows, and lay the groundwork for future AI-driven features.
Tight few-months delivery window
The platform had to be designed, built, and deployed fast — without sacrificing quality or scalability.
Multi-role access logic
The system needed to support guests, subscribers, coaches, and admins — each with distinct permissions and user journeys.
Translating business logic into product flows
The Startup Readiness Score had to drive the core experience — from assessments to content recommendations and coach matching.
Integrated billing and subscription model
Stripe integration was required for monthly plans, one-time purchases, and role-based access to premium content.
Foundation for future AI-powered features
While not part of the MVP, the architecture had to support intelligent content delivery and coach recommendations down the line.
What was done
We worked closely with the SVIYP team to design and build a strong MVP that translated their coaching methodology into a structured web platform. The project followed an agile delivery model and was launched in just 2.5 months.
Designed and implemented the full platform architecture using React, Node.js, MongoDB, and Auth0
Built dedicated interfaces for guest users, subscribers, coaches, and administrators
Integrated Stripe for subscription payments and individual content purchases
Developed a self-assessment flow tied to the Startup Readiness Score
Enabled coach booking, ratings, and content recommendations based on assessment results
Set up a Strapi-based admin panel for content and user management
Deployed the platform on AWS, ensuring scalability and future white-labeling potential
Implemented features:
Self-assessment with instant scoring
Guest and subscribed users can complete a guided assessment to get a Startup Readiness Score.
Coach discovery and session booking
Subscribers can browse coach profiles, request 1:1 sessions, and leave post-session ratings.
Dynamic content recommendations
The platform suggests relevant videos, templates, and tools based on user scores and activity.
Tiered subscription plans
Stripe integration supports multiple monthly plans, each unlocking different access levels and pricing.
Admin panel for content and user control
Admins manage users, coaches, subscriptions, and all platform content via a Strapi-powered CMS.
Events, webinars, and digital resources
Coaches can publish webinars and content, while users can explore, purchase, and rate resources.
Secure authentication and role-based access
Auth0 handles user registration, login, and access control across multiple user types.
